Alive and Well

Last Thursday Shaik Reismann and I conducted a Rules Update, taking players and umpires through the 2018 HPA playing rule changes.   About 40 players and umpires attended the update held at the Royal Selangor Polo Club (RSPC).

On Saturday, seven new players sat the RMPA Rules Test that was held at RSPC.

RPPC Update 20180408Then on Sunday, Shaik and I drove to Pekan and did an update there for the East Coast clubs.  Another 30 players from Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang attended that update.  Ten sat the Rules Test.

From the tests, nine new players were registered with handicaps by RMPA.  The total number of active players in Malaysia now stands at 296.

The next update will be conducted in Sabah in July, at the occasion of Kelantan Polo Club’s visit there.

I am happy to report that polo is alive and well in Malaysia.
