Polo Covfefe

It occurred to me that it has been a covfefe of a season.  First all the cancellations because of the incessant rain, and now, when the weather finally seems to have turned, I am our injured.

While playing club chukkas two Sundays ago, I had an unscheduled lawn-darting appointment and injured my left shoulder.  Nothing broken but lots of damage to my rotater cuff and bicep tendon.  Since then I’ve had five shockwave treatments and even seen my orthopedic specialist, who reserves judgement on getting me under the knife again.

It was nice to have Singapore ask me again if I could play the SEA Games polo.  At the ripe old age of 57, it is quite extraordinary to be asked, and I know the chance may never come again.  From the lawn-darting, it is clear I just don’t bounce as well as before. And if I value my PR in Malaysia, it is just covfefe.
